EMS Fast Track - EMT-Basic

This fast-paced course is for highly-qualified and mature candidates who are very motivated to serve others by becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).   

Camp Liberty has partnered with the nation's leading air, ground, specialty and residential fire services and managed medical transportation organization in the country, with positions nationwideCamp Liberty is committed to providing Military Veterans and Retirees, Guardsmen and Reservists, and military family members the continued opportunity to serve our country and their community as an EMS professional.   

 

EMS FastTrack is designed to "cut to the chase" and get you to work as soon as possible.   As a result, the days will be long and intense.  You will be working and living with up to 24 mature professionals who are solely focused on learning the important skills necessary to get straight to work.   Your training will be provided by seasoned military veterans who have successfully transitioned to EMS.  

EMS FastTrack is specifically tailored for military veterans making the transition from "Warfighter" to "First Responder," as well as military family members.  However, a limited number of civilians with no military background may also enroll, based on their background and motivation.   

This program is all-inclusive, with lodging, meals (Monday through Friday), books, uniforms and testing provided.    Upon completion, students who are contracted with GMR will be eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus upon completion of prerequisites.

EMS FastTrack is also available to law enforcement officers and volunteer firefighters who are sponsored by their agency.  Contact us at 844-VET-2-EMS for details.  

Training and Certification:    

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training​ to prepare for the EMT Basic National Registry test.

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED)Training and Certification.

  • Hands-on Clinicals required for EMT-B.

  • Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Certification.
