CAMP LIBERTY · BATTLEGROUND, ALABAMA · 2027 PROGRAM PREPARATION
STOP-C & Patriot’s Boot Camp Challenge! Preparation
Both five-day programs use an immersive, hands-on military-style training environment. They share core leadership, teamwork, fitness and challenge activities, while STOP-C emphasizes preparation for uniformed service careers and Patriot’s emphasizes civilian adventure and personal achievement. Minimum age: 18.
Learning and leadership
Training is predominantly experiential rather than classroom-based. Cadre guide small groups through rotating leadership roles, team challenges and after-action reviews. Activities explore decision-making under pressure, communication, emotional intelligence, risk assessment, conflict resolution, trust, individual accountability and adapting to unfamiliar circumstances.
STOP-C participants can expect additional service-oriented standards and readiness discussions. The shared program is demanding but training should remain within each participant’s physical and emotional capabilities.
Physical readiness
Participants should be prepared to walk moderate distances, carry personal equipment, work outdoors and take part in team fitness and obstacle-course activities. STOP-C may require a higher level of physical readiness. Camp Liberty must be advised of relevant limitations before arrival so the training team can review participation and accommodations. Some specialized activities may be modified or omitted for safety, weather or staffing reasons.
Travel and arrival

Packing and issued equipment
Suggested packing categories include photo identification and insurance documents, toiletries, towels, shower shoes, athletic footwear, suitable boots, warm layers, work gloves, socks, undergarments, a notebook and pens. Use the final course joining instructions to confirm required clothing, equipment and packing details before purchasing or packing items.
Lodging, dining and services
Adult trainees may be assigned shared bunkroom lodging with separate male and female sleeping areas. STOP-C and Patriot’s primarily train at the Forward Operating Base (FOB). Adulting Boot Camp participants primarily stay at Independence Lodge. Other group accommodations are assigned as needed. Private rooms and cabins are not offered. Camp Liberty’s current group-lodging guidance requires guests to bring their own bedding and towels unless their course-specific instructions explicitly say otherwise.
Meals are generally served in the dining facility; some activities may use field meals. Notify Camp Liberty in advance of allergies and medical or religious dietary requirements. Laundry facilities and the Patriot Exchange may be available during the course, subject to the schedule.

Graduation and departure
The five-day program runs Monday, April 5, through Friday, April 9, 2027, with graduation on Friday. An optional tandem skydiving experience is planned separately for Sunday, April 11. Family attendance, ceremony time, airport departure windows and any special meals will be announced in the current course schedule. Confirm travel plans against the final joining instructions.
What makes the two tracks different?
Both groups participate together for approximately 90% of the training. STOP-C participants receive service-career mentorship and may be held to higher fitness standards appropriate to their goals. Patriot’s participants experience the same structured leadership environment but are challenged within their individual physical capabilities. The experience is intended for adults ages 18+, including veterans, aspiring uniformed-service personnel and civilians seeking a distinctive leadership challenge.
Potential training activities include military obstacle courses, zip lines, rappelling, pugil sticks, supervised marksmanship fundamentals, introductory combatives, field exercises and team competitions. The current course schedule may select or modify activities according to staffing, weather, safety and approved instruction.
Course lodging, meals and equipment
Program tuition includes shared on-campus lodging and meals, access to training facilities, loaned equipment and graduation activities. Airport transportation may be available by arrangement. Camp Liberty will confirm what is included in the $1,776 tuition and current joining packet.
