EMS Fast -Track - EMT-Basic Certification
This fast-paced course is for highly-qualified and mature candidates who are very motivated to become an Emergency Medical Technician. EMS Fast-Track is a no-nonsense course instructed by an exceptional team of emergency medical professionals, designed to get you to work as quickly as possible.
Camp Liberty will soon be able to offer our programs through the military's Credentialing Assistance Program. Additionally, we have partnered with Global Medical Response - the largest EMS company in the country - to provide Military Veterans and Retirees, Guardsmen and Reservists, and military family members employment opportunities to serve our country and their community as an EMS professional.
EMS Fast-Track is designed to "cut to the chase" and get you to work as soon as possible. As a result, the days will be long and intense. You will be working and living with up to 24 other mature professionals who are solely focused on learning the important skills necessary to get straight to work. Your training will be provided by seasoned military veterans who have successfully transitioned to EMS.
EMS Fast-Track is specifically tailored for military veterans making the transition from "Warfighter" to "First Responder," as well as military family members. However, limited number of civilians with no military background may be enrolled, based on their background and motivation, on a case-by-case basis.
This program is all-inclusive, with lodging, meals (Monday through Friday at noon), books, uniforms and testing provided. Upon completion, military students who are sponsored by GMR will be eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus upon completion of all prerequisites.
EMS Fast-Track is also available to law enforcement officers and volunteer firefighters who are sponsored by their agency. Contact us at 844-VET-2-EMS for details.
